Plus Mercedes V12.
And a rag sunroof.

I know some tuner made one of those with the V12 from the new SL. I forgot which one though.

Ooooh so nice - I'd do a glass panoramic sunroof instead but I dig it. Keep the hubcaps, black paint (or perhaps a nice gunmetal grey with tobacco hides).

Yes please. Maybe m275 instead of m120. Because twin turbo.

Not a V12, but still.

That looks perfect, V8 works as well, it only needs an extra pair of doors and the color black.

Perhaps, but I'm not focusing on power. I want it to be a cruiser.

Yes, everything original but the engine.

I personally love the 2-door. The 4-d00r is certainly more affordable, though. The sedan can be had relatively cheap, even in good condition, like this one near me. A coupe will cost you 10x that much . And if you want something truly amazing (the convertible), forget about it.

Essentially the opposite of this:

I see where you're coming from. If you haven't driven a car with the m275 I recommend doing so at some point if you get the chance. Soooooooooo smooth and cruisable.

God that convertible looks great. Because of import laws during the Brazilian dictatorship any of those are really hard to find and are extremely low mileage. There is a white 4-door near me, they want 40k for it.

Yes, the exact opposite.

The Maybach 57S has the M275 right?

I believe so, but I've never worked on one before, or studied one.

I had the luck to drive one once, you are right, it is smooth.

While your at it, weld some equal lengt headers and make it sound like a F1 car, then your finished.
